CHC33015 - Certificate III in Individual Support

CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) is an awesome start to your career in the aged care industry. This highly practical and hands-on course will set you up for a rewarding career in residential or community Aged Care.

We provide industry relevant training using our 30 years experience in providing aged care. Delivery Modes:
  • Online delivery through our easy to use and accessible learning platform 
  • Face to Face at our Avondale Heights Campus (International students only)
  • All students must also complete 120 hours student work placement 

Course Length:

Face to Face delivery for International Students once travel can resume to Australia

  • 41 weeks over 12 months 
  • ​3 days per week
  • 9am – 4:30pm
  • 120 hour student work placement 

Online delivery for Domestic Students and International Students during COVID-19 border closures

  • Work at your own pace 
  • ​You have 12 months to complete
  • 120 hour student work placement 


The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) comprises of 13 units of competency.  

  • 7 core units 
  • ​6 elective units 

We have selected the elective units of competency within this course and have chosen these based on providing the learner a broad set of skills on supporting residents living with dementia, medication safety, and infection control.

Entry Requirements (Domestic):

We have the following entry requirements: 
  • You must be aged 18 years or over  
  • ​You must hold a satisfactory Australian police check  
  • You must able to commit to the course attendance requirements
  • You must hold a minimum of a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or equivalent 
  • You must have suitable language, literacy and numeracy skills to perform workplace tasks such as measuring, weighing and comprehending written work instructions 
Entry Requirements (International):

We have the following entry requirements:
  • You must be aged 18 years or over
  • You must able to commit to the course attendance requirements
  • You must hold a minimum of a Higher School Certificate or equivalent
  • You must hold English language proficieny of IELTS level 5.5
Fees and Charges:

Payment plans are available to both Domestic and International students. To secure a place in this course students are only required to pay $300 upfront as an Enrolment Fee which is non-refundable.

Domestic Fees: $1,500
International Students: $10,000
